About Perelle Blooms

FRESH : BEAUTIFUL : SCENTED

We believe that we should protect our amazing planet for future generations. So we provide beautiful seasonal flowers grown in Guernsey, pesticide free, with minimal packaging.

Anna - Flower farmer

I'm Anna and I have a passion for growing beautiful seasonal cut flowers in a sustainable way that protects and encourages wildlife.

I'm very lucky to live in the beautiful Island of Guernsey growing flowers in my garden using the 'no dig' method.

I love making up arrangements knowing that my flowers are #grownnotflown #pesticidefreeflowers #growninguernsey #plasticfree so not only are they super fresh they are also kinder to the planet.

Vase life

Many supermarket flowers have been bred to last a long time once cut, this is needed as it is a long process from cutting to being in a vase in your house. As our flowers are freshly picked we can include different varieties in our bunches, some will last a long time and others have a short vase life but we include them because the smell is incredible.

You can prolong the life of the cut flowers by changing the water every day, keeping them out of sunlight and cutting a little bit off the bottom of the stems.

Once a flower is finished, remove it from the vase and continue to enjoy the rest of the beautiful blooms.

Sustainability

1. They are grown in Guernsey not flown half way around the world.
2. We don't use weedkiller or pesticides, our flowers are naturally grown.
3. No - plastic - packaging
4. We only use peat free compost to start our seeds off and make our own compost for mulching bigger plants.
5. We don't cut all our flowers some are grown just for insects.
6. Some areas are left for wildlife.
